Bayou Guitarworks Custom Shop Ibanez

Custom Bayou Guitarworks 2000 Ibanez SA160. The original very thick cryptonite (Lol) finish was carefully and completely removed. Revealing a beautiful Mahogany body. We proceeded to seal the wood and apply our signature Seafoam Surf cracked relic finish, (Nitrocellulose Laquer). Tranformed the sound into a much nicer tone. The original electronics were kept all except the humbucker was replaced with an EVH Frankenstrat pup that is always there when you need the " Brown Sound". The single coils have a nice cleaner tone that is enhanced by the Nitro finish so we left them intact along with the 5 position switch to give you several different tone options. The guitar was then re-assembled meticulously by Bayou Luthier Dee Adomaitis. The setup is super low with no buzzing frets. Soft and silky smooth with 9 gauge strings. Perfect intonation for singing harmonics. Very light weight at 6.7lbs. and the nut width at 1 5/8" makes this guitar very comfortable to play.
